The given pie charts compare the proportion of working force engaged in different occupational fields mainly manufacturing, sales, and services in two towns A and B over a period of two years 1960 and 2010.

In the overall trend, nearly after half a century, a major proportional jump can be observed in the manufacturing sector in town A, whereas sales remained the most popular working sector in town B however, it faced a slight downfall in the latter year.

According to the given illustration, in town A, 41% of the population was associated with sales in 1960, which got shrunk by almost half in 2010. Also, nearly one-third of the masses were interested in the service sector in 1960, which dropped down by 50% in the latter year. On the contrary, the manufacturing sector that accounted for just 29% before 60 years, witnessed a huge surge by more than two-fold in 2010.

For town B, nearly three-fourth of the people were indulged in the sales sector, which fell down to 53% in 2010, a major dropdown by 17%. However, a slight increase of 2% in the service department can be observed, but a significant rise of about 15% in the manufacturing sector shifted the percentage to 25% in 2010.
