The pie charts show how many people in towns A and B worked in three separate areas in 1960 and 2010.
Overall, the most people in town A worked in manufacturing, while a large percentage of people in town B worked in the sales force.
In 1960, the percentage of people working in the sales industry was the highest in both town A and town B, at 41% and 72% respectively. In second place, the proportion of people working in the service industry accounted for 30% and 20% respectively in towns A and B. The lowest percentage of people working in the service industry was 29% in town A and 8% in town B.
In 2010, the number of people working in the manufacturing industry grew and reached the highest rate with 64% in town A. While, the percentage of people working in the manufacturing industry in town B was the lowest with only 24%. In town B the percentage of people working in sales made up for the highest percentage with 54% when while the number of people working in the sales industry in town A only accounted for 20% and ranks 2nd. The percentage of people working in the service industry in town A was only 16% and was in the lowest position, and in town B, it accounted for about 22% and ranked 2nd.
