The pie chart compares the number of people who volunteered in six different organizations from 2008 to 2014.
Overall, it is clear that environmental and sports organizations as long as the health care department increased over the shown period. In contrast, art, educational and other categories slightly decreased between the two years.
In 2008, volunteers who chose to work for educational organizations made up the largest proportion, just under a quarter, followed by the environmental category, which ranked second out of six, at 21%. Next, the art department too up 18% out of the total while sport and other categories had the same percentage, a 15%. The smallest figure can be seen is the proportion of health care organizations, at 7%.
In 2014, environmental organizations attracted more volunteers, therefore, the percentage rose to just under a third, forming the largest part of the chart. Similarly, sports and health care groups had a small increase to 25% and 8% respectively. People who volunteered in educational organizations dropped to 7% compared to the number of volunteers in 2008. The percentage of the art category has a 6% decrease while the remaining group accounted for a little under a tenth.
