The infographic presents information on the average hours of such unpaid activities as childcare, housework and gardening per week conducted by married women and men.
As can be seen, there is an inversely proportional link between the women and men. The women without any children have 30 hours weekly on the activities, whereas their counterparts spend slightly less than 20 hours per week. In the second group, where the people have 1-2 children, the figure increases substantially to just over 50 hours for the women; in contrast, the figure remains unchanged for the men. Interestingly, in the last category (with over 3 children), the figure goes up further at approximately 55 hours for the women, while the men in this group allocate nearly 15 hours weekly to the activities.
The bar chart indicates that the women tend to spend more time to the unpaid activities than that of for the men in the all categories.
