The given graph demonstrates step by step production of energy in hydroelectric station.

Overall, it can be clearly seen that to get an energy water goes different generators during the day and night.

Firstly, water is taken from river, after it goes to high-level reservoir. In this reservoir there is a Dam which does not let a big amount of water.

Secondly, water to pass to reservoir, during the day flows to generate electricity. However, at night water is pumped from turbine.

Thirdly, water gets to Power station, where it goes through turbine, and during the day it operates, but at night water goes opposites direction. In addition, after Power station aqua goes to Low-Level reservoir. Although, the energy from hydro gets through Generator, after which goes to Power lines and National grid.

All in all, this circulation repeats during the day and night to get power from hydro.
