The diagram illustrates the electricity production through a hydroelectric power station.
Overall, there are four steps to make the electricity in total. It is beginning with water is flowed to a high basin and ending with the reservation of water at the same initial tank to prepare for the later day work.
First of all, the water is streamed to a high-stage reservoir from a river, then it is continued flowing to reversible turbines through a dam at day time. Following this, changeable turbines at day time are operated the generator which produces the electricity. After that, the electricity is distributed to the national grid through power lines.
On the other hand, the processes at night time are different, which water is run straight back to alterable turbines from a low-level tank. The process continues with flexible turbines, which works at night time as pump water into a high-point artificial lake. Finally, water is reserved for the next day work.
