The diagram illustrates the process of producing electricity from geothermal energy. The process is broadly divided into 5 stages.
Overall, process begins with cold water pumped down from the surface and ends with providing electricity for high voltage pole.
At the first stage of process, cold water is pumped down a 4.5km long pipe from surface and follow the injection well through the geothermal zone which contains a myriad of hot rocks in order to increase the temperature of water .
At the next stage , heated water follow the production well to pumped up to the condenser in which the water convert into steam, ready for the next stage. Finally, steam is produced in condenser used to power the turbine which activate the generator to generate electricity and distribute to many high voltage. The generated electricity is used for many proposes and could be transmitted to the nation grid.
