The given diagram illustrates the production process of electricity from geothermal sources. An overall view indicates that this process include five crucial steps.

In first step, cold water which is maintained in containers on the ground, pumped down to a 4.5 Km distance from the surface. During the next step, the temperature of water would rise up as a result of passing through hot rocks in the geothermal zones. Then, hot water pumped up to the condenser on the ground where water transformed into vapor because of high pressure.

Further step is when vapor is used to operate the gas turbine which is connected to a generator. The rotation of turbine will produce mechanical energy which is transform to electricity by the generator. Finally, the electricity will inject into grid and will carry out to houses and industries via tower.

All in all, producing electricity from geothermal sources which are lied under ground, is a complex process that consist of 5 major steps.
