The diagram below shows how to recycle organic waste to produce fertilizer (compost).
The diagram gives information about the steps involved in manufacturing fertilizer from recycling organic waste.
In general, there are five stages in total, starting with preparing a plastic container, and ending with using compost for different purposes. It can be seen that it takes 6 months to create compost.
At the beginning of the process, preparing for the recycling process of organic waste requires a container is 2 cubic meters. Air is needed to manufacture compost waste to compost, so there are six holes in the bottle to ventilate the air in and out. The next step is adding organic waste into the bottle with three layers of newspaper, grass, and food. Each of the layers is 15 centimeters thick, and nitrogen and hot water are poured into those layers to create a mixture.
After that, the mouth of the bottle is sealed with a piece of nylon to brew and keep the air inside. It takes 6 months to create fertilizer. During the 6 months, the mixture undergoes the process of heating, and then gas escapes from the air slots in the decomposition. The organic waste is transformed into fertilizer which can be used for gardening.
