Given is the diagram depicting the process of producing sugar from sugar cane.

It is conspicuous that the linear process has numerous steps from harvesting sugar canes through various processing steps, and it ends with the output as crystal sugar.

First, sugar cane which grows for 1 to 1,5 years, depending on the cultivar or care, is harvested when the leaves are dry, the bottom and the top are practically the same sweetness. There are two manners for obtaining are craft or using modern machinery to harvest with higher yields.

Following this is the crushing of cane into juice by using a sugar mill. After being extracted from canes, the juice is mixed with other impurities, the pH is low and acidic. Limestone filters are used to clean/ sort out... sugarcane juice and increase the pH. After that, this juice is evaporated into syrup.

Subsequently, the centrifuge generates centrifugal force to separate sugar crystals from the syrup. Drying the sugar crystals helps brightness and increases the preservation time. Finally, sugar is cooled before packing to produce.
