The diagram below shows the manufacturing process for making sugar from sugar cane.

The diagram illustrates how sugar is produced from sugar cane.
It is clear that there are seven stages in the manufacturing process for making sugar shown on the diagram, from the initial process of planting to the eventually process of drying and cooling.
In the first stage of the process, sugar canes are cultivated in the fields during 12 to 18 months. These trees then will be harvested by hand or machine depond on the size of farmland and the availability of equipment. A crushing machine will be used to grind harvested sugar canes to juice that will be purified in the next stage by limestone filters.
In the fifth stage, juice from previous process will be heated by evaporator to become syrup. The centrifuge machine continues separating sugar crystals from syrup. In the final step, drying and cooling processes will be applied, then sugar will be stored and ready to delivery to customers.
