The flow chart illustrates the process in which glass bottles are recycled. Overall, there are three stages in this process, starting with collecting used glass bottles and ending with delivering new glass to supermarkets.
To begin with, the glass bottles are collected from a collection point where they are delivered to a cleaning plant by a truck. In the second phase, the bottles that are washed by high pressurized water are classified into three categories, including clear, green, and brown bottles. Subsequent to this procedure, they are sent to a recycling plant and then forwarded to a furnace in which the glass is melted into liquid. After being subject to high temperature, the recycled liquid glass and new liquid glass are poured into a mold to make new glass bottles.
Finally, the new glass bottles are distributed to supermarkets for consumers. In this way, a cycle is completed and a new one is to be started.
