The given process illustrates the procedure for recycling cans made of aluminium.
Overall, there is a series of steps, beginning with disposing of used cans and finishing with recusing recycled cans. It is also noticeable that the recycled cans take up 74% in the United Kingdom.
At the beginning of the process, the aluminium cans are thrown into the designated waste baskets. They are then collected and transported to the factory for further processing. After being washed plus classified. The cans are put into a special machine for being cut into small pieces and pressed under high pressure.
In this stage of the process, the laminated aluminium is heated with adequate temperature to be melted. Following this, it is rotated flat with the thickness from 2.5mm to 6mm for different purposes. After that, it is recycled into new cans and filled with liquids. Finally, the cans are delivered to consumption points. It is estimated that the percentage of recycled aluminium cans throughout the UK is 74%.
