The diagram illustrates how carbonated drinks are produced.
Overall, it is apparent that the process of making such drinks consists of five stages in total, commencing with the water cleaning phase and culminating in packaging before being released into supermarkets.
In the first stage, raw water passes through the filter, and moves into the water softener. From this, it is transferred to chemicals, which is followed by the pumping process. This is the point at which the second stage begins. After being pumped, the water is heated in electric heaters, but then, it is travels through the cooling pipe before being mixed with carbon dioxide. Subsequently, the resulting carbonated water slides down into the mixing tank.
Turning to the stage 3, in the mixing container, colours, syrups and flavours are added to the carbonated water prior to being sent to the filter. After being filtered, bottles and cans are filled with water, and packed into boxes. Ultimately, the products are ready for use, and delivered to the supermarket.
