These given diagrams demonstrate the transformation of West Park from 1950 to 2010 (over 60 years) which was divided into 2 periods. Generally, by 1950, there were 4 main areas in West Park (School, Playground, president area and farmland) then in 2010, science block, car park and sport field were added to the left of the Park instead of president area and farmland. but the school and playground still remained.
During the first periods, from 1950 to 1980, the West Park had a big difference by adding 3 new buildings (science block, car park and sport field) to replace farmland and people’s buildings. They are set next to each other and next to the school which was in the original position. for the sport field, its place was behind the science block, car park and next to the playground.
In the final stage, from 1980 to 2010, there were just a few alternatives in size. The car park was widened and it covered most of part of the left size areas. Next, the sport field and playground were minimized and put to the same part on the right below.
