The diagram shows how tea leaves are processed into five tea types

Essay topics:

The diagram shows how tea leaves are processed into five tea types.

The diagram gives information about the steps involved in the process of producing five categories of tea.
In general, it can be seen that although all the teas are produced from the same leaf, the differences in the manufacturing process result in five different types of tea.
At the beginning of the process, tea plants are grown in suitable condition until they meet a standard for harvesting. The next step is that farmers remove the leaves from the plants, pluck tea leaves on the top of the tree. Picked leaves after that are withered to let the moisture in the leaves evaporate. Tea leaves are dried in the oven before turning to the completed products. However, in the stages in between this, differing methods of production are employed.
White tea is the special type of tea because it does not experience any processes. The green tea is steamed and rolled before putting in the oven to let it dry, while the oolong tea is rolled and undergoes the process of slight fermentation. Finally, it is black tea which has quite a difference from the process of other types of tea. About the large tea, it is rolled and fully fermented and gets dry in the oven. In contrast, small tea has extra steps by crushing fermented leaves instead of getting rolled and dried.
