Overall, there are five main steps to complete a life cycle of a honey bee starting from eggs laid by females to the mature honey bees, which lasts from 34 to 36 days.
In the first stage of the life cycle, mother honey bees lay 1 or 2 eggs every 3 days. It takes between 9 to 10 days for eggs to hatch and turn into immature insects. 5 days after the hatches, the nymph molts for the first time.
