The given diagram illustrates the various stages in the development of the honey bee.
Overall, there are five main steps to complete a life cycle of a honey bee starting from eggs laid by females to the mature honey bees, which lasts from 34 to 36 days.
In the first stage of the life cycle, mother honey bees lay 1 or 2 eggs every 3 days. It takes between 9 to 10 days for eggs to hatch and turn into immature insects. 5 days after the hatches, the nymph molts for the first time. The molting continues taking place 7 days later and again another nine-day period. These bees also grow quickly in size after each day.
With a reference to pre-maturity, horizontal stripes begin to emerge in their bodies. These bees are called young adults. In the next 4 days, they will turn into an adult and participate in the reproduction process to create another generation.
