The given diagram describes the cloning process of sheep embryos.
There are ten main stages involved in this reproductive cloning process, starting with taking body cells and egg cells from two female sheep called A and B respectively, and finishing with cloning a lamb as a duplicate of Sheep A.
In the first stage, the body cell is taken from a female sheep called A while a female sheep named B is taken the egg cell out of its body. Then, DNA is extracted from the body cell of Sheep A and the nucleus of the egg cell from Sheep B is removed. The next step is fusing the DNA from Sheep A with the egg cell of Sheep B, which creates a fused cell after that.
In the following stage, the fused cell develops into an embryo. The embryo is then placed in the uterus of a foster mother sheep called C. Ultimately, Sheep C bears a lamb as a clone of Sheep A.
