Essay topics:

The diagrams below show the site of a school in 2004 and the plan for changes to the school site in 2024.

The two maps compare the layout of a school in 2004 with the design for its development 20 years later.
It is clear that the plan for 2024 includes the addition of new buildings to accommodate a larger number of students.
In 2004, there were 2 school buildings separated by a path leading to a huge sports field for 600 students. By 2024, it is predicted that there will be more 400 students attending the school, so the third building will have been constructed to meet their needs. It will replace the site of the original sports field, next to a new car park erected to the east. Therefore, a smaller sports field will need to be rebuilt, dominating the area of trees.
Additionally, a shorter path will be created to link 2 initial buildings, blocking the long way from the main entrance to the third school buildings. Instead of it, a new road to the second car park will also spring up, which makes it more convenient for students to move their vehicles from the entry. Finally, there are no changes in the location of the original car park and the main entrance.
