The diagram illustrates how to construct an igloo
Overall, this process has 13 different stages, beginning with exploiting snow from hard-packed snow and ending with piercing holes on the wall of the igloo for ventilation.
The process commerces by seeking out areas which have hard-packed snow to then harvesting them by a saw. After harvesting, vast blocks are used to form substructure of the construction. However, these blocks have to be smoothed their edges to be able to put others close or onto them to generally form a hemisphere.
In the next stage, a igloo’s entrance is created by digging underground from one side to another of the wall. Following this, a hexagon enormous block is closed on the top of igloo. The process continues with putting snow on the outside surface of the construction, with which all crevices are occupied. The next step is to grind the inside surface of the igloo by hand and a snow door is built above the previously made tunnel. The entire process concludes after covering the outside hole with snow blocks and cutting some small holes on the wall for ventilation.
