At the first stage in the lifecycle of a silkworm, the moth lays its eggs and after
10 days later , the silkworm larvae hatch from eggs ; these larvae feed on mulberry leaves. then, after four to six weeks , the larvae become covered with silk thread and it takes between three to eight days for a full cocoon to be produced.
For silkworm production , a cocoon is first selected and then boiled in water. after boiling, the silk thread in unwoven and , then several strands are twisted together . at the fifth stage in the process the cloth is dyed and then woven into the silk cloth.
