According to the table given the consumption of fair trade coffee and banana in 1999 was highest in Switzerland while in 2004 uk was the highest buyer of coffee but Switzerland had the majority in banana

In 1999 Switzerland had the highest sales of coffee with 3 million Euro’s with Denmark and uk second and third respectively with figures of 1.8 and 1.5.Switzerland also has the majority share by far in 2004 with 15 million Euros with Denmark being the closet with a meger 2 million euros contribution .Belgium was the lowest consumer with just 0.6 million Euros

In 2004 Switzerland slipped to second in the list of coffee consumers with uk taking over with a consumption of 20 million euros with Sweden and Belgium being the lowest consumers wth 1 and 1.7 respectively.Switzerlsnd held its lead in the banana sector with figures of 47 million euros and uk with just 5.5 million euros.Denmark slipped to the bottom replacing Belgium who improved there figures from 0.6 in 1999 to 4 million euros in 2004.
