The figures give information about economic growth and household expenditure across a range of categories

The given line graph and pie charts illustrate the growth of the economy and how much money people spent on food and services between 1995 and 2010. Overall, it can be clearly seen that the figures for economic growth fluctuated and remained nearly unchanged over the given period of years, while food and housing are the most popular spending.
Looking at the line graph, the number just stood at nearly 0.1 percent in the year 1995. However, the level gradually rose and reach its peak of 4 percent in 2005. Between 2005 and 2010, a dramatic decline was seen in the figures by approximately 9 percent, which was also its lowest point; whereas, the level increased again and reach almost the same as the figure in the beginning.
Turning to the pie charts, people had a high tendency to use their money on food and housing from 1995 to 2010, with roughly 60 percent for both. Other retailers had almost the same figures during the period and accounted for nearly 23 percent. Similarly, people just spend a little money on clothing, entertainment, and travel, with just approximately 17 percent of the total between 1995 and 2010. However, in the year that the economic growth reached its peak, people are more likely to spend their money on less essential services than in other years.
