Overall, what stands out from the first graph is heating and water heating are largest parts of energy consumption, while the other graph shows water heating and other appliances are take significant amount of greenhouse gas emission.
The energy spending in Australia to their needs (heating, water heating, refrigeration, cooling, lighting and other appliances). The most energy used for heating and water heating which are 42% and 30%, respectively. Other appliances and refrigeration consist of lower amount energy that 15% and 7%, respectively. The remaining energy is provided for cooling (2%) and lighting (4%).
The emission of greenhouse gas is distinctive from energy usage. The significant part of greenhouse gas emission comprises both water heating and other appliances which are 32% and 28%, respectively. Refrigeration and heating are similar that are 14% and 15%, respectively. The rest of gas emission are due to the lighting and cooling.
