The graph line A& B in combination depicts, total number of passengers (in millions), using train as main transportation in Sydney and the ratio of trains running on time between 1995 to 2004.
Overall, as shown by graph line, the number of train passengers were gradually peaking in first half and start falling down, additionally, with varied fluctuation the proportion of on time trains declined dramatically.
In details, as information provided by first graph, roughly 250 million passengers used train in Sydney at 1995, while, this graph steadily uplifted and reached nearly 270 million in 1999. After that, with rapid upsurged, in 2001 300 million people used train as main transportation. But, this increasing trend did not stay longer, after next year it start lowering and accounted around 280 million in 2004.
Regarding to second graph line, the schedule of trains running time was excellent in 1995 with over 92%, but this excellency did not stay longer and dropped to around 85% in 1997. After 1997, next 2 years, the performance again soared and reached approximately 94% in 1999. This is the highest ration over the surveyed period and with varied fluctuation in between, in 2002 the ratio again gained same point as 1999. Although, after 2000, the graph line showed the worst situation, rocketed diminishing and reached around 72% in 2004.
