Overall, there was an increase in the figure of train commuters in the period of 10 years and it reached a peak in 2005. Similarly, more trains ran on time in the same period despite a drop in 2006.
When it came to the data of people using train in 2000, there were 35 million people, after which it rose to nearly 42 million people in the next 2 years. In the following year, it witnessed a decline by 5 million people, before reached a peak to approximately 47%, ending the period by a slight drop to 42%.
As for the percentage of the punctuality of train compared with the standard lines, the share of punctual trains consistently remained at 95% in the entire period. While the proportion for standard lines started at 92%, then hitting a high off at 96% in 2005.In the next year, it reached a low of 92% which was the same as that of in 2000, before ending the period with a remarkable growth to 97%.
