The diagrams illustrate two different forms of heating systems which are both fed by wood pellets and how they work.
When a wood pellet stove is used, first the wood pellets are put into fuel hopper and moved though the fuel feed, which is exactly located under the hopper, to combustion chamber, where the woods are burned. Then, ashes stay at the bottom while hot air originated from chamber rises to the top in which combustion fan is placed to blowing the hot air.
When the pellet boiler is used, at the first place, cold water is guided into furnace while it is supplied by wood pellets for heating water. Second, ashes drop into bottom and smoke are released by stack. Eventually, hot water can be taken to whole building by radiators and make rooms warm.
Overall, each two components of heater are fed by pellet woods. However, the major differences of two systems are hot air by fan in pellet stove and reliance on water in pellet boiler.
