The given Diagram shows Penetration of light In ocean
The given diagrammatic Representation highlights the information about The penetration of light to various depths through four zones with the temperature difference beneath the ocean. The data is calibrated in metres which is clearly and coherently representated.
It can be seen that, 0 metre the topmost covering of the surface of ocean having temperature constant with sky. Later on as we move down to first zone; sunlight zone it is upto 200m depth having a temperature of 5 degree centigrade. Moving further, second zone comes at 1000m depth which is Twilight zone. At this zone, temperature climbed to 3 degree Celsius.
Apart from all this, to a depth of 4000 m, third zone get started, which is commonly known as semi -dark zone, penetration of light has declined. Add semi-dark zone, temperature climbed 21 degree Celsius. Afterwards, the bottom zone; particularly called to be dark zone get started. It is the deepest and finest zone of the ocean, which comprises the length of 6000m; where temperature is supposed to be less than zero.
