The given charts give information about the number of students at university in the UK from 1991 to 2001, government spending and the types of family economic background they came from in 1991
The given diagrams demonstrate the number of undergraduates in the UK, the amount of state expenditure on each learner and the rate of students by household financial condition in the two decades, which is from 1991 to 2001.
Overall, in the first year, a wide range of colleges came from the families who had the moderate earnings. Besides that, more and more individuals started to studylearn in universities while the authorities declined the expense for people who pursued the higher academic paths.
Concerning the two charts with trends, in the first year of the examined period, the number of university’s students was more than ten million, which saw a dramatic growth to just north of fifteen million after four years before still considerably climbing to twenty one million in the second year of the 21st century. Meanwhile, the allowance that the state spent to assist the students with difficult circumstances started at 6500 pounds in the first year of the 1990s. After that, this number significantly decreased to just south of 5000 pounds after half of a decade and then still remained unchanged.
Turning to the remaining pie chart, the learners came from three distinctive types of family economic backgrounds, in which the percentage of the middle one being highest, accounted for 62%, which was double that of well-of household, at 30%. Nevertheless, only 8% made up the low earnings family, which is the lowest of that given pie chart.
