Grange park in 1920and today.
The two plans illustrate the changes of grange park from 1920 to and present today. This public park was inaugurated in 1920.
Overall, there are multiple modifications done on the infrastructure of the park over the years mainly on the rose garden and allocated seats.
Over to the first plan, the main attractions of the park was the fountain at the centre and the stage for musicians near the east side. Along with that, in the northwest region, there was a pond for water plants. Similarly, rose gardens located all the three corners of the plan and the arrangements of seats were also distributed at different areas of the map. Moreover, there was a glasshouse near the entrance from Eldon Street.
However, after the renovations grange park structure has been changed a lot. Significantly, the fountain is replaced by rose garden and seats arranged on all four sides of the garden. Likewise, stage for musician modified to an amphitheatre for concerts and expand the stadium up to the east end of the plan. Furthermore childrens play area and beautiful water feature created in the place of old pond and glass house respectively. In addition, today there is anew underground parking area built in one end of the Eldon street entrance
