The line graph illustrates the quantity of water using by 3 sectors (agriculture, industrial use, domestic use) in a period of 10 year from 1900 while the table shows water consumption in Brazil and Congo in 2000.
Overall, using water had an up-ward trend. Additionally, the data of Brazil was many times greater than its of Congo.
With regard to the line graph, the figure for agriculture started at approximately 500 km3. Then, it increased gradually over years till 2000 and peak at around 3000 km3. Besides, the number of industrial use was as same as its of domestic use and remained constant at about 100 km3 till 1960. In 2000, the quantity of industrial use was nearly 6 times bigger than its of domestic use, which accounted for 1200 km3 and 200 km3, respectively.
As could be seen from the table, the Brazil population was 176 million with 26,500 km2 which reached 359 m3 per person in using water. While the water consumption in Congo was just 8 m3 individually, is about 45 times smaller that its in Brazil.
