Overall, it can be seen that petrol and oil significantly dominated throughout the given time period and predicted to achieve all time high level. Also, trend for the all other fuels increased and remain upeard in future except hydropower.
With regards to petrol and oil, in 1980, consumption of energy stood at 35 quad units and it is followed by natural gas and coal at 20 and 16 quad units respectively. Petrol and oil source fluctuated until 1995 but then, it increased rapidly and reached at 45 in 2020 and is predicted to growth remains in upward trend which would touch all time high figure at 50 quad units. Consumption of energy through coal increased moderately and reached at 27 in 2020 and uprise momentum is forecasted until 2030. While for natural gas, it rised slightly with fluctuation in between and it is assumed to remain constant in future at 25 quad units.
Nuclear, solar, wind and hydropower were at the lowest level of 3 quad units in 1980. For nuclear, solar and wind, it augmented slowly until 2020 and it is anticipated to stand at 8 and 7 quad units respectively in 2030. While hydropower fluctuated until 2010 and after that it is assumed to reach at previous figure of 5 quad units.
