The following graph shows the details of the energy consumption in the USA, involved projections from 1980 till 2030. It is clear to find out that all the energy sources have been increased over this period.
Take a look at the diagrams, the fuel of Petrol and Oil stood in the top consumption among the other five data. It has been raised from 35 to nearly 50 quadrillion units from 1980 to 2030. Following by the Coal and Natural Gas, which own a similar statistics. In 1980, these two fuels only have a gap of 4 quadrillion units (Coal for 16 and Natural Gas for 20 quadrillion units), after the 50 years projections, two resources have opposite positions, although both of them have gone up, in 2030 the Coal will have almost 5 quadrillion units higher than the Natural Gas. In addition, the data of Natural Gas keep the same in 24 quadrillion units since 2015.
Moreover, three sections share the same number in the begin of the graphs--Nuclear, Solar/Wind, and the Hydropower resource. The steady boost of these dates have reached a separate number after the year 2030, and three of these data have newly 2 quadrillion units difference between. (Nuclear for 7, Solar/Wind for 5 and Hydropower for 3 quadrillion units)
