Overall, the figures were presented with an upward trend about the number of british household using two and three or more cars while that of those without car declined within the given period.

The percentage of U.K. people possessing one, two, three or more cars and no car started at roughly 44%, 7%, 2% and 47% respectively in 1997. There was the same change in the number of U.K. people using two and no car, respectively, there was an stable growth to soar to a peak of roughly 25% in 2007, halving before sinking to a trough of roughly 24% in the <span style="font-size: 19.36px;">percentage </span>of british household without car in 2007.

In contrast, while the percentage of british household using one car relatively remained constant at roughly 44% after up and down throughout the period, that of those using three or more cars increased slightly and reached a peak of roughly 7% in 2007.
