The graph below gives information about changes in the birth and death rates in New Zealand between 1901 and 2101.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The line graph depicts how many thousands of people were born and died in the initial period and also it is predicted for the future in New Zealand between the year 1901 to 2101.

Overall, it can be manifested that birth rates were higher than death rates in the starting period, in future it will become the same for a year after that death rates surpass the born rates.

First of all, the birth rates of Kiwis in the year 1901 was 20000 and death numbers was almost half of it(around 10000). Dying rates were steadily increased by the decades till the year 2001, while it was dramatically risen in childbirth numbers. It went at all time the highest numbers with just under 70000 in during the 1950s to 1960s after that, it had dropped down in numbers. In the year 2021, birth and death rates are just over 50000 and 30000 respectively.

However, it is forecast that numbers of death will rise and birth rates will decrease at the end of the year 2101. Furthermore, both rates for New Zealanders will become the same around the year 2041 with the figure of just below 50000 people. In the end, it will have different around 10000 to 12000 people between birth and death rates. The figure for the former one will be around 58000 and the latter will over 40000 people in New Zealand.
