The graph shows how much petrol people in the United State and the United Kingdom used.
Overall, the difference between the poorest and the richest in the UK is greater than in the US.
In the UK, the poorest spend around 3% of their income on petrol, and the richest spend approximately 4%. By contrast, in the US, the poorest spend around 4-5% while the richest show an unexpected percentage between 2-4%. The middle-income in the UK spend lower on petrol than in the US, which is around 3-4% and 4-5%.
It is noticeable that the percentage of income spend on petrol by the poor in the US can be twice as much as that spent by the rich. However, in the UK, the percentage spent on gas rises steeply for the needy but falls gradually for the rich. The middle-income in the UK spent less money on petrol than in the US.
