Essay topics:

The graph below gives information about the percentage of people living in Australia who were born in Asia, the UK, and other regions.

The diagram illustrates the proportion of people living in Australia who came from Asia, the UK, and other regions during a thirty-five-year period.
Overall, it is evident that the total percentage of immigrants in Australia experienced a subtly increase, while there was a fairly decline in the proportion of people who came from the UK throughout the period. The data also indicate that the period brought a marked rise to the rate of Asian people, whereas the remainder witnessed a little growth during this time.
To begin with, starting at less than 15% in 1976, the level of UK people witnessed a moderately fall to 5% by 2011. In stark contrast, positioned at 3% in 1976, the rate of Asian people saw a dramatic elevation by 2011. Strikingly, the directions of both categories contrasted with each other during the time.
Meanwhile, standing at more than 10% in 1976, the percentage of other region experienced a little decline of 3% in 1986. Then, the next twenty years brought a considerable growth from around 8% to 14% to the rate of other, which then little decrease to nearly 13% at the end of the period.
