The graph below show how much money in a city council gave to book clubs over a four - year period
The line graph demonstrates the expenditure on books donated to the book club by a city council over the given time period.
Overall, the line graph referring to the amount of money spent on books had an upward trend from year 1 to the end of year 3, while in the period from year 3 to year 4 witnessed a downward trend. In addition, the number of books funded to the club registered a fluctuation quantity.
It is clear that money poured to the book's donation recorded a steady upturn in the time between year 1 and year 2, at 20.000 and 21.000 pounds, respectively. However, the amount of money given to books skyrocketed, from 21.000 pounds by year 2 to 40.000 pounds by year 3. In contrast, the city council was paying less expenditure on books for the clubs. Between year 3 and 4, money spent on books was seen a plummet from 40.000 pounds in year 3 to around 35.000 pounds in year 4.
On the other hand, the city council donated a large number of books throughout the period. There was a gradual alleviate in the number of books from year 1 to year 2, at 6000 books and 5000 books, respectively. However, year 3 was registered a surge of the number of books funded, from 5000 books at the end of year 2 to 10000 books in year 3. Furthermore, the number of books given for the book clubs witnessed a considerable increase between year 3 and 4. Additionally, 13000 books are donated to the book clubs by the city council, by year 4.
