The graph illustrates the number of books spent the amount of money in 4 different countries (Germany, France, Italy, and Austria ) over the examined period from 1995 to 2005. It is clearly can be seen that all of 4 nations experienced an upward trend for 10 years.
Looking at the graph in more detail, German tends to prefer to read books, in 1995, the sum of money spent on books in Germany was the highest, accounting for 80 million dollars while the opposite was true for that of Austria at 30 billion dollars. In 1999, the figures for Germany witness a slight increase to 90 billion dollars. before slowly decreasing to 85 billion dollars. Meanwhile, that of Austria remained stable at 40 billion dollars in 2001. There was a significant growth to 90 billion dollars and 70 billion dollars in the figures for Germany and Austria, respectively.
As can be seen in the graph, starting at 55 billion dollars in 1995, the figure for France did slightly go on at 75 billion dollars after 10 years. That of Italy saw a fluctuation before wanting on 55 billion dollars in 2005.
