The graph below shows the consumption of fish and different kinds of meat in a European country between 1979 and 2004.

The line graph illustrates the average consumption of various non-vegetarian like chicken, beef, lamb and fish by the people of a European country from 1979 to 2004.

Overall, it can be manifested that the consumption of beef and fish decreased during 25 years except for chicken.

Initially, the consumption of beef was the highest at around 220 grams per person per week. Moreover, the consumption dropped to nearly 170 grams in 1984 and grew again in 1984 before falling dramatically to just above 100 grams in 2004. Similarly, lamb consumption decreased slightly for 25 years, alleviating from 150 grams to approximately 75 grams in 2004.

By contrast, the consumption of chicken which was 150 grams in 1979 increased and became stable till 1999. After which it rose sharply and reached a peak of 250 grams by 2004 but fish remained stable the period with a little decline of 10 grams from just over 60 gram per person.
