The bar chart compares three different nations in terms of expense of some selected aspects in 2014.
Overall, what stands out from the chart is that food and housing were the most costly whilst the lowest figures on the chart were for healthcare and clothing in the given countries.
It can be seen that, most expenditure the citizen paid was housing. In the United Kingdom, the proportion of housing cost is the highest among three countries (about 28.5%). In other countries, housing remained the most expensive with over 20% of total expenses. The second position was food in the UK and Japan with 16.7% and 23.2% whilst transportation was the second most expensive in the US by 18.7 percent while food was the third position around 13.9 percent.
Healthcare and clothing were the least expensive aspects of three countries. For the healthcare sector, the US citizens spent around 9% while the others were less than 5%. The money paid for clothing of the given nations was around 5% (3.7% in the US, 5.1%in the UK and 4.1% in Japan).
