The line graph shows the number of foreign students coming to Australia from 1982 to 2000. There are Indonesia, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore where students come from.
In 1982, the highest number is Malaysia, at 8,000 students. However, a lot of students from Hong Kong went to Australia, and this number increased sharply in 1990 by 11,000. Singapore is 3,000 which i the lowest figure. All the countries grown quickly between 1990 and 2000, and the number of students from Indonesia had the biggest change.This had a peak at 26,000 in 1998. At the same time, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore also changed more, and all of them got approximately 18,000 students.
Overall, the number of oversea students in Australia had a sharp growth. Most of them are from different countries which had not a developed education, such as Hong Kong or Indonesia
