The given diagram illustrates the expenditure on different types of entertainment, namely, cinema, video, music, literature and television, in Asia, Europe and the United States in a five year period, from 1995 to 2000.
The americans spent more on relaxation in total than the other continent in 1995, 184 USD, as well as in 2000, 257USD. They lavished on media and literature. Only 50USD was paid for television whereas the number raised to 100USD in 2000, and 100USD was used up for printed materials in 1995 which later increased upto 120USD in 2000.
Not only the europeans abut also the asians were spending more on amusement i 2000 than 1995. However they were spendthrift in both the mentioned years as the total expenditure was lower than 150USD combined.
