The graph below shows how money was spent on different forms of entertainment over a five-year period. Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below.

The column chart shows the amount of money spent on television, publishing, music, video and cinema in Asia, Europe and the United States over a period of five years. The general trend the graph shows is that people in United States spend more money on entertainment than their counterparts in Asia and Europe counted together.
There was a considerable rise in the world entertainment industry during the period between 1995 and 2000, but it is most significant in Asia where the total sum increases with nearly one third reaching 110 billion dollars. Conversely, the change in Europe and the United States is respectively around 35 and 40 per cent.
Another pattern that can be seen from the graph is that the largest part of the funds is used for publishing, except from in Asia where Television has been the leading form of entertainment since 2000. The predominant part of the funds is spent on Television and Publishing whilst Music, Cinema and Television are less popular.
