The graph below shows the information about languages 13 year old students in one school choose to study

The given graph plots about two different languages, French and Mandarin, that are selected by 13-year old students in a school of England in the period 2000 to 2010.

In the early period of the decade, French was so popular among these age group with nearly 150 students learning it in the year 2000. This line graph followed a downward trend having 140 students in 2001 and decreased to 100 students by 2004. It decreased till 2005 which had nearly 90 students, and had slight increase to 100 in 2006 and was nearly constant after that settling at 90 students nearly by the end of decade.

Coming to the Mandarin language, it was not a very suggested language and had less than 10 students in the start but amazingly had a huge increase through out the graph, with students of more than 70 in the year 2005, where French had lowest in the total trend. Mandarin has 20 students in 2001 and had gradual increase till 2005 and had a slight decrease making it about 60 in 2006 and followed a constant rate after that, making it more than 70 at present. But didn't make 80 till date.
