The chart shows different ways enquiries were received by the Tourist Information Office and the figures recorded for each for a duration of six months in 2011. Overall, the numbers start at a similar level but delivery by letter or email declines while via telephone and in person increases.
In January, enquires by phone calls were the most popular with almost 1000 calls received while in person enquiry was less than a half of it and written ones was 800.The number remained in a similar position although there were slight fluctuations between February and March.
In April, in person enquiries rose to just above 1200 and continued to rise at a rate of about 200 per month while telephone enquiry remained steady in March and April and by May it had grown by 400 and also grew by 200 by June. On the other hand, written request lost popularity and dipped to under 400 in May and remained constant throughout June too.
