The given bar chart depicts one nation’s exports’ values in different categories in 2015 and in 2016. The table illustrates the proportion change that happened in each category of exports in 2016 and comparing it with 2015. Overall, it can be seen from the chart that the earnings from the exporting petroleum products were the highest in both 2015 and 2016. Regarding the table, all the values of exported products had increased in 2016 compared with 2015; however, only the gems and jewellery decreased.
To begin with, the country earned $61 billion from exporting petroleum products in 2015 while in 2016 it had increased to $63 billion. Engineering goods come second, they were exported at $58 billion in 2015, yet, there value raised to $61 billion in 2016. Gems and jewellery were more expensive in 2015 and were sent to other countries at $43 billion whereas in 2016 they experienced a decrease to $41 billion. Agricultural products and textiles were both exported in 2016 with similar higher value at $32 billion; however, in 2015 was $31 billion and $26 respectively.
Moreover, the percentage change in values in four categories had increased except gems and jewellery in 2016. Petroleum products values have raised 3% in 2016 compared with 2015, but engineering goods experienced a dramatic raise at 8.5%. Only 0.81% was the change that happened to agricultural products. In contrast, textile's values dramatically increased at 15.24%. Gems and jewellery value had declined at 5.18%.
