From 1987 to 1992, tourists from other countries came to see the lakes and the mountains rocketed, which was around 24 thousand for both places. On the other hand, the coast saw a decline overseas tourists in the number of 1997, which was around 35 thousand. From 1992 to 2002, there was a significant rise of the lake's tourist, which was 75 thousand. The figure for overseas tourists who went to see mountains and the coast grew moderately, which was around 30 thousand, and 63 thousand respectively.
From 2002 to 2007, the number of foreign tourists of the lake hit the free fall to 50 thousand after undergoing an increase to 75 thousand in 2002. Nevertheless, both the number of tourists who visited the mountain and the coast rose gradually with 35 thousand and 75 thousand orderly.
