The graph below shows the number of overseas visitors to three different areas of a European country between 1987 and 2007

The line chart delineates the number of foreign travelers visiting different parts of a particular European country during a twenty-year period.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is obvious that the quantity of foreign individuals visiting a country in European had a tendency to increase most of the period. Meanwhile, the regions that the majority of foreign individuals visiting were the coastal areas.
As is presented in the chart, it can be seen that the number of overseas travelers who visited the Lakes ranked last in the first year of the period, reaching 10.000 people, however, it began to rise shapely and peaked at 75.000 after 15 years. Meanwhile, the number of foreign residents visiting the coastal regions ranked first and stood at 40.000, after five years, this figure dropped gradually by 5.000 before witnessing a significant rise. In addition, the number of travelers from other countries visiting the mountainous areas underwent an increased fluctuation and reached 30.000 visitors in the year 2000.
By the year 2002, the number of foreign travelers to the Lakes witnessed a substantial decline to 50.000, relinquishing the top spot to the coastal regions. Following that, the figure for foreign travelers to the coast was almost doubled in comparison to the first year of the period shown. Lastly, the data for the mountainous area went up minimally in the last five year.
