The line graph compares the number of foreign tourists who visited three different kinds of areas of a European nation from 1987 to 2007. In the year 1987, the coast area attracted up to about 40.000 people, which was the highest . The figures for series 3 and the lake - the mountain were lower , at around 10.000 and 20.000 people respectively. during the period between 1987 and 2007 ,there was a slight increase in the number of international tourists that the coast welcomed to 62.000 people.The figure for the lake- the mountain area witnessed more significant changes than that for the coast ,reached the highest point of the whole line graph ,at approximately 75.000 people .Besides series 3 welcomed a fluctuating number of tourists during the same period, at around 25.000 people. Over the following 5 years, the number of foreign tourists who paid a visit to the lake –the moutain and the coast areas dropped slowly to about 9.000 and 7.000 people respectively whereas the figure for series 3 skyrocketed before reaching the highest point of its own during the 20 - year period.
